I hope you enjoyed a long weekend and were able to join in the festivities for the 4th. We grilled steaks and watched the Boston Pop celebration. Nice and quiet!
Here is the other Father’s Day card I made for sweet hubby. Rod has had many cars, but his first car was an orange “VW Beetle”. The “happy” came from the Party Popup thinlit.

And I have been using these quiet weekends to plug along on my scrapbook! I am now through 4th grade (age 9)! I am very pleased with the way my Girl Scout page turned out! On the tree I hung the explanation (badge) for each badge I earned. My sash was cut and I had to lower the Audubon Council badge and the troop numbers. I also have a pocket on the back of the tree page with other facts about girl scouts.

The envelop was 1/2″ wider than the card. I scored and notched and add a pull-(sorry I cropped that out.) And because this is one of those times where extra strength is needed due to the fact that the card would be pulled out and pushed back in–Tear and Tape to the rescue!!! I use this technique when I have alot to say about a page.

I know it can be challenging to find time to yourself, but I hope you can carve out some time for you to stamp and create! Have fun!

Happy stampin’,
~Laura~
