Hi all! I hope all the Dad’s out there had a nice day and weekend! We laid low and will celebrate later.
Today’s card is showing off one of my favorite stamp sets in the new catalog.
The cute flamingo and the new in color–Flirty Famingo are the perfect match.
See what you think. Oh, and the technique was inspired by Stampin’ UP! demonstrator France “Frenchy” Martin.

DIRCTIONS:
1. Score Soft Sky CS at 5-1/2”. One one end, trim off 1-1/4”—this will be your card front.
2. On the Whisper White 4” square, stamp as shown above, sponging lightly with soft sky any “white” area. The markers are for the pineapple.
3. Using framelits, cut 3 squares at the same time.
4. Adhere the 4” CS to card front.
5. Starting with the largest frame, use foam strips to adhere to inside of cut out square.
6. Now take the next frame and use 2 layers of the foam strip
7. Place stacks of 3 dimensional to center square.
8. For the pineapple, use the markers to ink stamp, and stamp on the Whisper White and on the inside of the card,
8.Stamp sentiment in Flirty Flamingo and punch with circle punch. Adhere and add rhinestones.
TECHNIQUES:
1.Telescope—this can be used with any “nesting” framelits.
2. Sponging—I like to use the sponges for the background giving a more even coloring.
3. Daubers—Use the daubers for the edges.
TIPS:
  1. Using the piercing mat will make a great stamped image.
  2. If you don’t have the foam strips, cut dimensional to fit.
  3. After you have inked the pineapple with the markers —remember to “huff” on the stamp to remoisten it. You need to reink each time.
