Good morning!
Saturday we went to Rod’s aunt’s 90th birthday party. There we were reacquainted with Rod’s cousins, many that he had lost contact with. We learned that his grandmother’s home in Smokebend, LA is on the National Registry of Historic Places and I am looking forward to a road trip very soon.
I also spent the weekend playing with the new Floral Thinlits. Here is one of the cards I made.
I used Wisteria Wonder and Elegant Eggplant to hilite this card. The Floral thinlit is awesome. I used a shim under the acrylic plate and ran the thinlit through my Big Shot three times. With the help of the Big Shot Brush, the result is stunning.
Please note that all Big Shots are different. If you see yours is not cutting deep enough, add a thin piece of plastic or a piece of cardstock to give the added thickness needed.
Have fun playing and happy stampin’,
~Laura~
