I missed last week due to a quick trip to Atlanta to see my son and his wife that were here from Saudi. I also got to see my granddarlin’s! We toured the World of Coca Cola while we were there. Very interesting, but the lines were extremely long!
Here is one of my cards from July’s Hostess Club.
7/13/2016
- After scoring card at 5-1/2”, place the two Floral thinlits with straight edges toward center leaving the same amount of an edge on all sides and run through Big Shot.
- Rub center of Navy strip with embossing buddy and stamp with VersaMark. (Use stamp-a-ma-jig to aline thank you phrase in center of navy strip.) Sprinkle with embossing powder. Brush away any stray powder and heat with Heat Tool until melted.
- Use snail adhesive and Multipurpose Glue to adhere one of white cards to inside of card front.
- On the other white piece, place washi tape on top and bottom of card. Use stamp-s-ma-jig to center flower and sentiment. Adhere to inside of card.
- Add pearls to front.
- Floral Thinlits-All Big Shots are different! I need a “shim” of thin cardstock or plastic to make complete cuts with my Big Shot. Experiment with yours.
- I also run it back and forth through the Big Shot. Check before removing thinnest that all areas have been cut.
- Stamp-a-ma-jig – place plastic card (it comes with it) up against the “jig” and stamp. Remove. Place plastic card where you want to stamp on card, and place “jig” against edge. Remove plastic and stamp on CS butting the stamp up next to the “Jig” corner.
- Multipurpose Glue-Be careful when applying — but if any adhesive shows, the adhesive remover will take it off.
- Practice with the Stamp-a-ma-jig. It just might become your best friend!
