Good morning! Hope you are enjoying what’s left of summer! It’s hard to believe how fast it has flown by–school will be starting very soon and it also means that a tax free holiday is coming. This weekend!!!
     The stamp set I used below comes in a bundle with those cool thinlits. The one I used for the waves can be used for a ton of stuff and the swirls make a cute “grapevine” wreathe. Check out some other ideas here.

DIRCTIONS: 
  1. Squeeze Aqua Painter and slightly wet watercolor paper
  2. Squeeze closed Dapper Denim ink pad to make puddle of ink on the inside of the case top. 
  3. Dip brush in ink and streak across bottom 1/3 of card. Clean brush.
  4. Repeat with Peekaboo Peach and make a sun in the top right corner.
  5. Stamp dots in the blue water with the Denim ink AFTER stampin’ off.
  6. Stamp small swirl over watercolor sun AFTER stampin’ off.
  7. Use thinlit to cut waves. Place on lower part of card to see where to stamp boat.
  8. Use Real Red for all boat parts and stamp off before stamping.
  9. Add flag.
  10. Adhere all layers and use the glue pen to adhere waves.
  11. Stamp happy birthday on inside of card.
TECHNIQUES:
  1. Watercoloring: wet watercolor paper first. Do not saturate.
  2. Stamping off-ink stamp and stamp on scratch paper before putting on card.
TIPS:
1. For easy cleanup, store Big Shot Brush Pad in one of our clear plastic Standard Stamp Cases. I put my project inside, run the brush over and dump scraps in the trash!
