Hi! Did everyone have a good weekend?

Thursday night we finally got around to celebrating our 28th anniversary. We went to one of our favorite restaurants, Louisiana Lagniappe. Friday, I volunteered as a tray helper for the K3, K4, and Kindergartners at Episcopal High. That was interesting and fun. My Godson is in K so I was able to visit a little with him. And after that I went to my friend Lori’s house to meet her 6 week old son. We were going to go to lunch, but we got to talking and of course I was cuddling and lovin’ up on that baby and time slipped by. Saturday was tailgating and another slamming game for LSU. They shut out UL Monroe!

Today I have been studying up on Project Life. As most of you know, Becky Higgins, the founder of PL is partnering with Stampin’ Up! to bring scrapbooking/memory keeping to a new level. The designs are exclusive to Stampin’ Up! and use SU colors! So far, this is what I have found out:

  • when you buy a card collection it comes in a nice box that includes 4 x 6, 4 x 4, and 3 x 4 decorated cards
  • the coordinating accessory pack includes specialty pocket cards, sticker sheets and washi tape
  • the empty slot in the box can be used to hold the accessory pack, pictures, photopolymer stamps, etc.
  • SU’s collections come without rounded corners (her other collections are rounded)
  • the journaling pens can write on pictures
  • this system is designed for quick memory keeping — whether it is week by week, month by month, or event by event. It’s your choice!
That said I am working on a layout for Wednesday night’s hostess club. Throughout the week I’ll be talking about Project Life.

Here you can see my accessory pack stored in the empty slot.
TIP:And here I put the colors on a 2″ x 4′ label with the
coordinating colors for Everyday Adventure. (I also do this
for my cardstock folders.)

Stay tuned this week to learn more about Project Life and Stampin’ UP!
Happy stampin’,
