Tonight was our monthly demonstrator meeting at DeAngelo’s restaurant. We are meeting there monthly (unless we are having a training meeting). At these gatherings we have a short business meetings-going over specials and socializing. Our group is steadily growing and it’s nice to be able to meet old friends and make new ones! One of the perks of being a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator.

We also make swaps to share with our customers. Tracey is in charge of swap themes/challenges and this months was to use green(s) and a neutral. Here is the one I made.

Here is the recipe:
STAMP SET: En Francais (W 128562 $17.95; C127790 $13.95)

                      Postage Due (W 132064 $21.95; C 126397 $16.95)

CARD STOCK: Wild Wasabi (108641 $6.95)
                          Baked Brown Sugar ( 131296 $6.95)
                          Crumb Cake (120953 $6.95)

INK: Soft Suede (126978 $5.95)
         Calypso Coral (126983 $5.95)
         Baked Brown Sugar (131174 $5.95)
         Garden Green (126973 $5.95)& (marker)

ACCESSORIES: Postage Stamp Punch
                           Dimensionals (104430 $3.95)
                           Vintage Trinkets (118764 $5.95)
                           Paper Piercer (126189 $3.95)
                           Stampin’ Pierce Mat (126199 $4.95)
                           Stampin’ Distress Tool (127582 $4.95)

TIP:On large (background) stamps, I like to ink and stamp
upside down.
Wiping traces of ink I don’t want transfered to my card stock.
Place card stock on inked stamp and gently rub.

End result!

TIP: Here I am using sticky notes to mask the area I want inked-
remember to remove sticky notes before placing CS on top!

TIP: I only want the bicycle inked on this stamp–
I’m using my marker to ink the stamp.

TIPS:Most cut out images need to be stamped first so you can
center CS in your punch. If you have a scrap-attach a sticky
note so you can center it.
CS: Card Stock
W: Wood mount
C: Clear mount

Hope these TIPS made your visit worthwhile!
Happy stampin’,
~Laura
