Can you believe it–once again we had ice and freezing rain. It was different this time. The crape myrtles were the first to display ice covered limbs and others followed looking like lace. The ice didn’t accumulate on the ground as in the other two incidents, BUT we lost power for about 3 hours.

My iPad wasn’t charged and no internet anyway. So what’s a girl to do? Stay in your jammies and stamp! Yea! I got 12 birthday cards made and took a nap.

I did have enough juice to search my Pinterest boards for samples. How many of you pin, pin, pin and never use what you’ve pinned? I can be guilty of this, but today I am using a card, inspired by Julie Davison.

This was a relatively simple card–good when you are making multiples. And most of the time I do make many of the same card.  Why not–you have everything out for one card so make more. Kind of like cooking. Why cook for one when the kitchens messed up anyway!
The recipe is simple
Stamp Set: Memorable Moments (W 132039 $29.95; C 126682 $21.95)
Cardstock: Whisper White (100730 $8.50)
                  Polka Dot Parade (126902 $10.95)
Ink: Old Olive (126953 $5.95)
Accessories: Artisan Label Punch (130920 $15.95)
                    Petite Petals Punch (133322 $12.95)
TIP: Punch the flower first, then center the flower in the artisan punch.
Happy stampin’,
