Today was appointment day! First I spent 1-1/2 hours on the Capital One no hassle rewards website trying to book my Christmas flight to North Carolina to see the granddarlin’s! After finally deciding on a flight and checking back and forth to make sure my plans synced with everyone else’s I went to book it only to discover that I was 2 reward miles short! I’d already called the 800 number twice and they were very nice and gave me the two points. Wow, that was nice! Back to the booking site–now the fares had gone up. Instead of needing 35,000 miles I needed 60,000! Whaaa! Near tears, I called a fourth time and they guy on the other end was nice enough to find me a flight and booked it for me. Whew! Glad that’s over. (What a hassle!)
Next was my hair appointment. High lights, low lights, cut. Two and a half hours later I emerged with a sexy, young and easy “doo”. Then on to my doctors appointment. All went well there too. I even got to do a little Christmas shopping on the way home and picked up forever Christmas stamps! Miracle of miracles there was only one person ahead of me at the post office! Maybe I was dreaming!
Speaking of Christmas presents, instead of a card swap at last nights Christmas party we had an ornament swap. The demonstrators were to wrap their presents in Stampin’ Up! supplies. Here is a sample and I’ll share more throughtout the week.
The bag topper is folded in half and a rectangle is cut out so that it slips over the handles of a white gift bag. The width of the topper is the width of the bag and the length is approximately 4″ when folded in 1/2. The snowman was done with scallop punches and the tag with a framelit. Isn’t it adorable and it really dresses up a boring bag! I’ll definitely be making some of these and hope you’ll try it too. Shop our punches and framelits here!
See ya tomorrow! Happy stampin’,
~Laura
