My Weekend

I had time this weekend for three days of STAMPIN’! Usually, most of my stampin’ time is chopped up between daily chores and errands. It was so nice to have the time to make card samples from some of the NEW stamp sets in the catalog.

Italian

Friday night, we went out to a local Italian restaurant called La Contea. (Every time I see the name I immediately think Mexican!) We had not gotten together with our friends in years. We shared what had been going on in our lives and the lives of our mutual friends, as well as appetizers. Then we dug into Shrimp over Zucchini noodles, meatballs and spaghetti and a grouper dish. And of course, the best rolls served with olive oil and herbs! Yum!

BBQue

On Saturday night, we got together with a friend and his girlfriend, who lives in Dallas and put a variety of items on the grill! Steaks, hamburgers and salmon.  Baked potatoes and vegetable kabobs rounded out the meal As you can see we ate very well this weekend!

Playing with the big Dog

Sunday we went over to my cousin, Blair’s house. Ziggy, our Frenchie, had a playdate with Kona, their dog and their 2 year old, Elliot. Ziggy had a great time playing and chasing Elliot, while Kona (7) mostly looked on. Kona stayed with us last weekend while her “parents and sister” went to Gulf Shores. Poor little Ziggy was worn out!

Ziggy is exhaused!

Have a great week! See you soon!

Happy stampin’,
