Good morning!
Once again Baton Rouge has experienced devastating flooding. Luckily we are in an area that is high and dry, but there is still lots of standing water nearby, a week later. Not only have we been impacted but the wildlife too! Last Saturday Ziggy, my Frenchie, was barking her head off at the front window. Then she tore off to the back door. When I looked out I saw my next door neighbor. She wanted to know if I’d seen a deer!?! A deer??? Apparently the poor thing tried to jump a fence in her yard, then ran up my driveway and escaped over a short fence on the other neighbors side. And yesterday I saw a large turtle slowly cross the street and go up a drive way there!
