Good morning! I hope everyone enjoyed their Memorial Day weekend! While this holiday signals the start of summer and kids getting out of school, let us be reminded of the real reason for this special holiday. Never forget the price our fallen military has paid to keep us safe! And continue to pray for those that have served and those still serving.
I had a quiet long weekend. Sunday was my monthly “Stamp and Sip” where friends come over on the last Sunday of the month to stamp, craft and/or visit. And yesterday I managed to finish some scrapbook layouts and start some new ones.
Remember, today is the last day for the current catalog! Be sure you check your wish list, because tomorrow–the NEW CATALOG comes out! Yippee!!!
- Make “tic” marks on both sides of the DSP at 1-1/2”, at bottom at 5” & 6”. Use paper cutter to trim from the side mark to the 5” mark, repeat to the 6” mark.
- Using Scoring, score DSP at 1-1/2”, 2”, 3”, 3-1/2”, 4-1/2”, 5”, 6”, 6-1/2”,7-1/2”, 8”, 9” and 9-1/2”.
- Fold starting at one end in a mountain – valley fold all the way to the end. (also know as accordion fold.)
- On the reverse side, run the adhesive across the top of the pleated DSP. Center and adhere to lower 1/2 of Mint Macaron card folding ends to the back.
- Place the 1/2” DSP strip across the top using 3 dimensionals—being careful to come in from the edges.
- Stamp sentiment in top right corner.
- Punch a pansy out of the Mossy Meadow CS, and 3 flowers using DSP and the Blossom Bunch punch. Adhere flower parts together with glue dots and a dimensional on back of large flower. Adhere to left side of card above DSP strip.
- Adhere card front to Mossy Meadow CS.
- When scoring DSP, use the large end of the stylus and only score one time. Too much pressure or repeated scoring will cut the DSP.
