Good morning! Here is one of the cards we made on our HSS Hostess Club night.
Are you always looking for card ideas for the men in your life? I am! This stamp set is perfect!  Another great (background stamp), World Map, can make some super cards. They get away from all the “girly” cards I make most of the time.
I did use a retired set for the sentiment to show how to cut a sentiment that is longer that the framelit I want to use. I hope the directions are clear enough. It really allows you more options to use with your framelits .

DIRCTIONS:
  1. Run Crumb Cake through big shot using embossing folder.
  2. Use the sponge dauber and Crumb Cake to color the continents and the edges of the CS. Adhere to card front.
  3. Stamp the world in Marina Mist and cut out using frame lit #5. Sponge edges in Crumb Cake. Cut the Cajun Craze with the #6 frame lit. Adhere the two together.
  4. Stamp the sentiment in Cajun Craze. Use the banner framelit cutting 1/2 at a time. Ink edges with Crumb Cake.
  5. Fold the ribbon in 1/2 and place under Cajun Craze and banner on top. Staple to hold together.
  6. Adhere “world” to card front with dimensional and ends of ribbon with glue dots.
  7. Cut DSP for inside of envelop.
TECHNIQUES:
  1. Sponging embossed CS.
  2. Using envelop framelits to cut DSP for inside of envelop.
  3. Extending a banner
TIPS:

  1. To extend a banner for a longer sentiment-place the framelit on one end of sentiment letting the framelit hang off the end of the clear plates so that the end is not cut. Now flip around matching cut grooves and repeat.
  2. Use a light touch when sponging raised areas of embossed CS.
  3. I hate wasting DSP, so I only cut the top part and insert about 1-1-1/2 inch.
