Valentines day will soon be here and I couldn’t resist this fancy card for my loved ones.

The 2nd card we made for HSS Hostess Club was a beautiful Valentines card. The stamp selections in this years Occasions catalog are amazing. The glitter paper is Blushing Bride and the Cherry Cobbler flowers really make this card pop! I’ve added the bundle price for the stamp set and the thinlit! Enjoy!

DIRCTIONS:
  1. Stamp flowers on card front with Sahara Sand ink.
  2. Cut out heart in glitter paper using heart thinlit. Place heart on foam pad with thinlit  facing up and roll Big Shot Brush over (right side of heart) removing small cut pieces. Use Fine Tip Glue Pen to adhere.
  3. Stamp flowers (large and small) in Cherry Cobbler and Blushing Bride and cut out with thinlits. Adhere using Glue Dots.
  4. Stamp sentiment in middle of 1/2” strip of CS.
  5. Stamp flower and leaves stamp in Wild Wasabi. Clean ink off flower with damp q-tip and color it with marker.
  6. Use bone folder to curl banner. Adhere to card front with dimensional going across the heart.
TECHNIQUES:
  1. Using NEW brush with thinlit.
  2. Making pointed end of banner using a square punch.
TIPS:

  1. Use glue dots to adhere flowers to glitter paper. The Glue Dots go down in the glitter paper forming a bond.
  2. Use the bone folder to curl one end of banner, flip over and curl other end.
  3. Roll the brush over the templet a few times, checking to see if any are left. If so repeat.
  4. When using glitter paper, work on the wrong side (non-glittered). In other words, turn the glitter paper upside down when using a paper cutter, punch or thinlits. (It helps save the blades!)
Happy stampin,
~Laura~
