Last Friday I went over to the Phi Mu house to help make flower arrangements for the new initiates. We made 95 vases of pink carnations. We also ate lunch and boy can those gals in the kitchen cook up some yummy treats!
Well it looks like we have made up for the drought we have been having and we are now 10″ above our yearly average! I love the rain but it messed up my plans with my Godson, Evan, this weekend. We tried to go to Boo at the Zoo. Just as we got there it started drizzling and by the time we fought the traffic to get out of the parking area and back on I-10, the downpour started. We had plans on Sunday to go to the Rural Life Museum for their Halloween trick or treating, and it poured ALL day. Guess we’ll have to wait until next year.
