Ever though this is being read on the day after, I wanted to wish all the father’s in your life a Happy Father’s Day. Beau and I had a very quiet day, (the calm before the storm). Mr. Joe was off seeing his kids and my mother-in-law is still in skilled care. She will be coming home this week and we are all going to have some real challenges ahead of us. Hope you will remember us in your prayers.
While we have been sitting and catching up on Downton Abby, I’ve been going through old card samples. A few I am going to incorporate into stamp camp and the rest I will donate to a nursing home or assisted living place.
TIP: Old cards can be recycled! Trim off the part that has the message or any personal sentiments and adhere the card front to another piece of card stock. Or if you only have card fronts, like many of my samples that came from conventions past, just use the back of the card to write your message. Now it’s like a postcard!
Be sure to check out stampinup.com from time to time. There are some cute, cute ideas out there! Take a look at this! The star is vellum and the stamper used the negative (I think that’s what you call it) “hi” on the star. I will have to try this and I had already decided just today to use more vellum. In my samples, I found a darling tiny vellum envelope.
Happy stampin’,
~Laura
