Hi! After the open house last night, I was so pooped that I totally forgot to blog! I usually write my post the night before and set it to be published early in the morning.

      I had 3 “newbee” stampers show up along with some of my regular customers and some of my demonstrator friends. I set up a table showing our rubber stamp options: wood, clear and our newest–photopolymer and explained how they are mounted and used. I also had samples galore for them to get ideas from. And of course there was food. Lauri made her world famous tortilla rollups, cheese, crackers, fruit and brownies! Yum! Thanks to all who came to the party.

      AND the piece de resistance was a make n take using our new blendabilities. We made a simple gift card holder with a flower that was colored in using coastal cabana. Beautiful! And the blendabilities were a definite hit! Here it is:

The recipe:

STAMP SET: Flower Shop
                      Something to Say
CARD STOCK: Crisp Cantaloupe
                              or
                         Hello Honey*
INK: Tuxedo Black Memento Ink Pad
        Coastal Cabana Blendabilities
ACCESSORIES: Pansy Punch
                          Mossy Meadow Ribbon*
                          Dimensionals

* New In Colors

TIP: This is a very simple, fast project! Cut a square 3-5/8″. Score at 1-1/4 and fold. Color in flower and punch. Attach ribbon to hold flap and attach ribbon. Add a gift card!

Have a calm weekend! Happy stampin’
~Laura
