Just finished with Pokeno at my house! Most everything is cleaned up–the crystal will have to get washed tomorrow and a little tidying up. Who would believe it!?! I won blackout tonight with the exact same number of chips I had last night. The group was almost as wild as last nights. Talk of parents and alzheimers, new grand baby on the way and an engagement. I’ve been with this group since 1992 and my last nights group since 1976. Whew! I sound old!
I am using the “good” stuff more and more –china, crystal, silver soup spoons. Why save them? I used to entertain alot more than I do now and Beau and I have always liked using our china on occasion when it was just the two of us. Kids now days aren’t interested in our stuff. And Erma Bombeck said something years ago about saving things (and never using them). I wish I could remember her quote.

Well, I did take a few minutes this morning to go through the new catalog online for demonstrators to view. I have to say it is totally awesome! The best one yet. It is very easy to maneuver through and it has indexes for accessories as well as stamp sets. My Digital Studio is featured also along with Becky Higgins and Project Life. I think you will love it too. Please let me know if you’d like to preorder a copy. I sell them for $5.

     So, what is Project Life?

Several years ago I had a hard time
keeping up with the memory-keeping that I wanted to do. I solved my own
problem, developed a system that works, and now Project Life®
is available to everyone, everywhere. Project Life provides an
ultra-simple solution that helps us get those pictures into albums
without draining our time, energy, and wallets. The idea is simple:
Photos + memorabilia + journaling together in an album – everything
slips into pockets. No requirement to cut or glue or embellish a thing.
And yet – the results are stunning. Project Life is back-to-basics
scrapbooking at its finest.

Here are some items from Project Life that were on todays stampinup.com website.

See you next week! Have a great weekend!
Happy stampin’,
~Laura
