Well today turned out to be a much better day than expected! Three years ago my Sweet Hubby had a TIA. The tests showed he had a major clog in his left carotid artery. So off we went to the General for the surgery. The “dye” test they did to know what to expect almost killed him. He had a reaction and his blood pressure bottomed out! So more tests were done-stress/heart and a month later surgery was finally done. It proved to be much more involved than was thought and he spent 4 days in the hospital. Every year a sonogram has been done to check him out. So two weeks ago he had the sonogram done and got a call to meet with a surgeon–that the other carotid was stopped up. The doctor studied the tests, showed us the results and said that he does not need surgery. Come back in two years. Wow! What a relief! I didn’t realize how tied up in knots I was. Thank you Lord for blessing us once again.
April showers bring May flowers and since spring is upon us and the weather has been nice I thought this card would be appropriate! Can you tell how this card was made? I’ll give you a hint–it was done with a punch. The body part of our Owl Builder punch makes the tulips and the leaves. Add a sentiment and there you go! The HELLO friend is from the Peachy Keen stamp set in the Occasions catalog.
Happy Stampin’,
