Stamp camp was tonight and I had a pleasant surprise. My dear friend from NO was here for meetings and came for the first time to card night. Ann is into hand made cards and scrapbooking but had never had the opportunity to experience it the “Stampin’ Up! way. We had wine and enjoyed sharing stories while we stamped. What could be better!?!

Here is one of the cards we made using the starburst technique.

The Recipe:

STAMP SET: Geometrical (W $29.95133158; C 133161 $21.95)
CARD STOCK: Pool Party 5-½” x 4-¼”; 5” x 3-¾”  (122924 $6.95)
                          Basic Black 4” x 5-¼” (121045 $6.95)
                          Crisp Cantaloupe ½” x 3-¾” (131298 $6.95)

INK: Stazon Black (101406 $7.95)
ACCESSORIES:  Bone Folder (102300 $6.95)
                             Stampin’ Trimmer (126889 $29.95)
                             Anywhere Glue Stick (104045 $3.95)
                             Stamp-a-ma-jig (101049 $11.95)
                             Subtles Candy Dots (130933 $5.95)
                             Pool Party Twine 15”

Cut each rectangle into triangles.

Pick one triangle from each group and make a pattern.
Then repeat it. Mark the center on each long end of the
cardstock that the triangles will be mounted to.
Use the glue stick to cover area where triangles will be mounted.
Start in the center and lay out
patters completely covering
base.

Flip over and trim off excess.
Enjoy this fun technique! Happy stampin’,
