I hope you had a good weekend! Now back to the grind!
I had a nice quiet weekend, getting caught up–unpacking, paying bills, washing clothes–you know the usual stuff. Everyone’s still alive and kicking-my birds are tweeting and the elders are doing OK with the exception of colds.
I did make church this morning and the church was still beautifully decorated. I belong to St. James Episcopal Church. We decorate Christmas Eve and take down the Sunday after New Years. We sang Christmas carols and I wasn’t hoarse which is unusual since my allergies usually kick in at this time of year. Here are a couple pictures of the decorations. I always try to keep my eyes wide open–you never know where a little inspiration may strike. I just might get inspired for next years Christmas cards!
NOW to tell you why I’m so excited! I’m preparing to hit the road again! This time I’m headed to Houston with one of my downline to attend Leadership! From what I gather, Leadership is sort of a “mini convention”. But unlike Stampin’ Up!’s yearly convention, you must qualify for Leadership! And guess what!?! After 9 years I qualify! Yippee Skippee! I can’t wait! Tracey came over this afternoon to help me figure out what I am going to make for card swaps. Duh, forgot about that–and we leave on Wednesday and will be gone til Sunday! It was pouring rain-what a perfect day to stamp!
