Friday was a home day as we used to say in Kindergarten. Saturday, Sunday, holidays and special bad weather days.
It literally sleeted all day Friday with the temperature never leaving the 28 degree mark! Since we are in the deep south and not equipped to handle sleet and snow, schools and public offices were closed and the police urged us to stay home unless it was an emergency. Most heeded their warnings but you know human nature-some diehards just had to push it. Here are some pictures. Wish it had been a white layer of snow, but I’ll take what I can get.
The weather we had gave me a great excuse to stamp ALL day or in this case all weekend. Tracey and I had a Kickoff to Sale-a-bration event on Saturday to make 4 cards–I call it a “short stack” as opposed to stamp-a-stack of cards where we do multiples of 4 examples. Two were Valentine cards and one birthday and one all occasion card. I’ll be featuring these cards tis week.
