Hi! Hope all of you are well and staying in the cool! The afternoon showers have given Baton Rouge a reprieve from the high 90 temperatures!
I have been trying my hand at “gardening”, if you count an herb garden! I’ll be making Pesto next week with my abundance of Basil. My Rosemary is coming along, and now the heartbreak of killing my fav-mint. So sad, but I have replanted and I think it will make it this time!
And the most exciting new-we’re EXPECTING! A momma sparrow made a nest, while we watched, in our mailbox! She is now sitting on 5 eggs! Updates to come
