Wow! What a rollercoaster we have been on!
First, the pandemic and lockdown, then a teaser that the COVID pandemic may be ending! Then the resurgence of the virus! And to top it all off, Hurricane Ida caused havoc for Louisiana, when it made landfall as a category 4 storm and stayed that way gradually lessening, as it made it’s way to the eastern United States! Baton Rouge was expecting a direct hit but Ida spared us the worst by hitting slightly east. Major wind damage, and infrastructure damage resulting in loss of electricity for 6 days at my house! But not a lot of rain in our area! Some areas in town are still without power. And much of Louisiana will be out for weeks to come!
At home, lots of leaves and sticks to rack up, but no damage to the home we moved into July 31st. Those of you that know me, know I am not a yard person! I like to plant a few annuals, but that’s it! Well, Rod made a video of me RACKING the yard!!! For someone who exercises almost everyday–I had to do something!!! Thank goodness the evidence was too blurry to post-haha! BUT, we did get an outdoor kitchen! Thank you Ida!
Luckily, Lori Stocekle and family took us in! Lori has been a longtime customer, friend and she is my realtor!
On a much brighter note, Stampin’ Up! hosted Back Stage @ home. This was an intense 2 day training for demonstrators/leaders that are ranked Silver Elite and above.
We had inspirational speakers, training sessions (where we learned how to work with out team, get more customers and service the customers we have)! We also had networking sessions, where we met demonstrators from all around the world! Stampin” Up! also sent a cool surprise box: a Hydro Flask bottle, a leather folder for papers, a large zippered bag, a pen (with a 10 caret diamond), stickers, and a BackStage pin!
Just a reminder–Sale-a-bration is still going on as well as the joining special! Contact me for more information!
And please spread the word and ask your friends to sigh up for my newletters and blog!
Happy stampin’, talk to you soon!
