Hi all and happy birthday to my “Sista-cuz”, Judy!
Here is our second card from hostess club. This stamp set and thinlits are my #1 favorite! I have many others but this one really speaks to me. I’m thinking of doing a scrapbook page of my Puerto Vallarta trip!

DIRCTIONS:
- Cut the edge of 1 Very Vanilla CS with “vine” frame lit die. Adhere to Cajun Craze card front. Adhere 2nd piece to inside of card.
- Stamp Very Vanilla with Mint Macron using irregular stamp from Work of Art set—stamping off first. Stamp birthday greeting in Mossy Meadow over Mint Macron.
- Using label framelits #2 & #3, cut out the DSP and the sentiment. Adhere as shown.
- Stamp leaf veins and cut out large and small leaves.
- Cut out 2 large flowers in Hello Honey and Mint Macron and cut out the insides of the flowers in 2 sizes out of each color.
- Curl petals of flowers downward. Alternate color of stamens and flowers and adhere all parts with glue dots. Stack 2 dimensional on back of flower and adhere to card.
- Place leaves as shown. Adhere candy dots.
TECHNIQUES:
1.*I used Label Collections Framelits (retired). After I cut out the sentiment and DSP I “squared” off each along the bottom and top to give it a straight edge.
2. Curling flowers using bone folder.
TIPS:
1.Stack dimensionals to make the flower stand up higher.
2. I was short candy dots, so I used what I had—brads. I cut off the “little legs” and used a glue dot to adhere. Works in a pinch but they don’t lay as flat as the real thing!
Happy stampin’,
~Laura~
