When both our teams win, it is a GREAT weekend! LSU beat E. Michigan and the Saints won their first game this season beating the Cowboys!
So besides football, I managed to get a few things done this weekend. I made a “SU Go Kit”. I’m sure you are thinking what’s that? The kit is made using our large stamp case and decorating the front. It consists of things that I need when scrapin’ or stampin’ away from home. Stamp case, adhesive, scissors, dimensionals, bone folder, black ink pad and refill.
I am also working on MY scrapbook. I found it after my mother passed away. Apparently she was going to redo it. The pictures had been mounted to (now crumbling) paper and was stuffed in a manilla envelope. I started the redo around 2002–before Stampin’ Up! I am determined to finish soon. I am going to scrap from birth to 18 years old. I’m now 6–a long way to go. But as seems to be the norm, lots of “young” pictures and the number gets less and less the older the child gets.
When I go through my retired stamps each year, I save the ones I think I might need for scrapbooking. Here is an Easter page I made.
And last but not least, the final two cards from the Tin of Cards.
TIP: you can stack the butterflies together and do all the punching at one time!
