Well, I finally got around to finishing my friend’s monogrammed note cards! The set I used was Sophisticated Serifs and is (as I mentioned) a perfect set for monogramming. A simple card with one color layer and just a hint of Pink Pirouette in the flower sets off an elegant look.
      Here are some tips!

TIP:I lined up the letters to make sure they
were lined up right and the spacing is equal.
TIP:I wasn’t pleased with the inked image
so I very LIGHTLY sanded the stamps!
Remember you aren’t sanding the floor! This
helps the ik smoothe out on the stamp.
TIP: I cut out a piece of a grid sheet the same size as
my piercing mat. Then I marked the center
so I would know where to place my card to stamp it.
And I did use my piercing mat to give my stamp a
good cushion.

TIP: Next, I marked my block so I
would know where the center was.
The line can be removed with rubbing
alcohol.

The finished product!
I inked the edges with Pink Pirouette
or Wild Wasabi. Isn’t the little flower
cute? It comes in the set too!

Happy stampin’,
~Laura
