I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving! We enjoyed the day with our friends Maura and Brian. We feasted on smoked ham, sweet potato casserole, mashed potatoes (Beau had to have those), green bean casserole, and Sister Subert (?) rolls. Sweets included cranberry orange salad, ambrosia, and pumpkin pie!
Everyone seems to have a different recipe for ambrosia, but the way I fix it is with oranges, coconut, pecans and maraschino cherries. AND the best part–I “harvested” the oranges off my very own trees!
I’m getting ready for my Christmas card stamp-a-stack this weekend. I’ll be sharing those cards later.
