Today after work I went out to Episcopal High for my Godson’s 6th (school) birthday party. The kids were wild and excited, partly due to the cold snap we are currently having. Afterwards I ran a ton or errands including getting my flu shot (have you gotten yours?) and on to the grocery. I managed to get home, throw the veggie soup ingredients into a pot, cook cornbread, pull in the last of the plants and meet my friend Betty for dinner. We enjoyed our wine and italian delights at Portobellos. A nice evening out after a hectic day!

We will be closely watching the LSU vs. Auburn game on Saturday and praying for the best. Geaux Tigers!!!
