We had a fun but tiring weekend. On Friday, I took my sister to Acme Oyster Bar where we had a yummy lunch and talked and talked. Then we strolled the Trader Joe’s shopping center (I’m not sure what the real name is) and walked through the stores to see what it was all about. Pier 1 had lots of fall/holiday decorations. FYI, owls are in!

Saturday we ran out to Bed, Bath & Beyond to get a set of sheets, light blue of course. Then it was on to tailgating with our neighbors. I stayed and watched the game and cheered our Tigers on.

I am dog sitting this weekend so this morning I got up early to go feed the dog. I read the paper and drank my coffee and tried to go back to sleep, but never did. And this afternoon was my monthly Stamp and Sip Sunday. Tracey and Michelle, two of my regulars came over and worked and visited with me and my sister. I worked on another couple of Project Life pages. Here’s what I got accomplished:

This shower was a brunch and swimming party. I
had plenty of pictures for this layout and even threw
a few away (can you believe!?!) I added a few arrows
to show who attended.

The invitation is on the 2nd page. I trimmed a couple
pictures and was able to mount some of the pictures on
the reverse side of the last layout.

TIP: I am learning that some of the pictures can be mounted front and back when using cardstock or the 4″ x 6″ cards from the kit. In other words, the stripped card I used in the first page, bottom right was used in last weeks layout and since it is printed on both sides I was able to mount my picture from today’s layout on the back. Same thing with the cardstock-that way I am not using twice the cards or cardstock. (I hope I am making this clear.) Less=savings!
Happy stampin’,
