Fall, as with all our seasons, brings about change. The weather gives hints of coming cooler weather with overnight lows flirting with the leaves making them colorful and eventually falling off the trees. Daylight savings time comes ’round with time falling back and evenings coming sooner–or so it seems. School’s back in with all the activity that that brings as well as getting back on schedule. High school, college, pro football are in full swing along with tailgating, a time to reconnect with those friends we haven’t seen since last fall. And to top it off, Halloween or fall festivals and Thanksgiving are in our minds as well. A truly splendid time of the year!
Today’s post is one of the awesome swaps from the last demonstrator meeting! Our swap czar, Tracey, asked that we make cards using the stamp sets from Stampin’ Up!s holiday catalog. The first one was done by Lauri and she used For all Things.
This stamp set is a wonderful one to use for fall or Thanksgiving. The wide grosgrain ribbon adds a nice touch pulling all the Cherry Cobbler together.
Happy stampin’,
