Good morning! Hope you had a nice weekend.

Yesterday, Beau and I ran down to New Orleans to meet my nephew. He lives in Phoenix and was in town to celebrate his 50th birthday. We had brunch at Galatoire’s on Bourbon. Apparently that is the place to go for your birthday. We sang happy birthday to him and three others throughout brunch. The thunderstorms that occurred off and on actually made walking around the French Quarter bearable! Afterwards we walked over to the Monteleone Hotel and had a drink. I usually have my mint julep fix at Pat O’Brien’s but the Carousel bar located in the hotel has them beat! And the bar revolves like a slow carousel!

I found two cards from last month’s demonstrator swap that I haven’t shown you. The first card was done with the Modern Mosaic embossing folder and the Flower Shop stamp set.

The next card featuring butterflies, was stamped with Flowering Flourishes.  Who doesn’t love butterflies!?! (Ugh, there is one person, Tracey.) The butterflies were cut using Beautiful Wings embosslits and the center of the flowers-can you guess??? Yep, Blendabilities!

     Until tomorrow–happy stampin’,
~Laura
