Today we slept in (I really needed it) and have been lazy. We went to Ellen’s to swim for awhile. The sky was blue-blue and the humidity was alot lower than it’s been so it was very pleasant. And she has a beautiful pool.

We did do some stampin’ and the granddarlin’s worked on their peace signs-finished except for a couple coats of Modge Podge. And I made a card for Kip (one of the training guys) from Stampin’ Up!. I talked to him about 6 times over a couple months and he helped with ideas to help my business and set goals. I wanted to send a special card to thank him.

TIP: I cut the “DUDE” letters all at once. The DSP is thin enough to cut 2-Ds! And you do need to push the letters out with something that’s not sharp. I used the paper piercer and poked a hole in one of the letters!

     Here’s the recipe:
STAMP SET:  Starburst Sayings
CARD STOCK: Real Red
      Coastal Cabana
      Whisper White
      Maritime DSP
Night of Navy (3 different patterns)
INK: Coastal Cabana
Bermuda Bay
ACCESSORIES: Banner Punch
Starburst Framelits
2-1/” Circle Punch
Little Letters
Neutral Candy Dots

TIP: I used the banner punch with longer pieces of paper 5/8″ wide and about 2-1/2″ long. Just slide one in through the “v” shape for longer banners!

     Happy stampin’,
