Today was Sunday Stamp & Sip on the porch at the birdnest! Three other demonstrators came over and worked on different projects. I played around with our new stamp set: Flower Patch. (That’s the one used in Friday’s post with that gorgeous card.) I got some ideas for Wednesday night’s scrapbook hostess club. And I also played with my new blendabilities markers.

I love getting together with other stampers. I always seem to learn something useful. For instance, when we were on retreat acouple weeks ago, we were discussing the correct way to fold your card after scoring it.

TIP: The indented fold line is called the valley and when you flip your card over the raised line is called the mountain! Which way do you fold it? For years (10 to be exact) I have been folding my cards with the indented line (valley) inside the card and the mountain on the outside. Sometimes the edges don’t quite meet. So NOW I am folding my cards with the mountain on the INSIDE and it does seem to make a difference! Try it and see if it makes your edges line up!

Here is a card made by Brian King. I don’t have this stamp, but I can see it with many other stamps.
CASEing (copy and share everything) here I come!
