Tonight was Scrapbook Hostess Club. We went to Houston a few weekends ago and I wanted to do a page depicting the party. I’m not sure how your photos turn out–but I never seem to have the right pics. While I got lots of shots of family and friends, nary a one with crawfish in it! I did go to Office Depot and had the 8-1/2″ x 11″invitation shrunk to 5″ x 7″ which worked perfectly. I’ll get the pics on it in a bit and show the final outcome. But for now–here it is!

Now, I bet some of you and wondering what that stuff is at the bottom! Well, I’m going to tell you why you don’t throw stuff away–expecially if you are a crafter. Years ago my Daddy was in the hospital because his hip replacement failed. NO that’s not right. The rod in his femur broke and came threw the skin. I know, I know…gross!!! After 10 weeks in the hospital and home health, etc. I was left with about 12 rolls of sterile bandages. When I thought about throwing them out I decided-not yet, all it is is cheese cloth. I could use it in the kitchen or some where. Soooo, when I was trying to come up with a stamp or some technique for the crawfish net, I thought of all that cheese cloth. It was white so I dyed it with our reinker! And I must say, I impressed myself! What do you think?
