(Read all the way to the bottom for exciting news!) What a wonderful Easter day we had! First I went to early church at St. James at 9 o’clock and saw the children flower the cross. Mr. Warren had saved me a seat upfront. The church as usual was beautiful, decorated in green palms and White Easter Lilies, and the colorful flowers brought by the children made it a spectacular sight. Father Mark gave a wonderful sermon on the fact that the Christmas decorations are out before halloween and after Thanksgiving we’re wishing everyone Merry Christmas or Happy Holidays. So why is it that we don’t do the same at Easter saying “the Lord has risen indeed!” He added that if you said that to a telemarketer it would guarantee you a spot on the do not call list!

After services I came home and cooked a fabulous lunch. Crawfish and Shrimp Elegance over puff pastry shells, steamed broccoli, tossed salad and devil’s food cake and ice cream. Yum!
Mr. Warren joined us for lunch and brought me the most beautiful long stemmed (cantaloupe crisp colored) roses. I hope your day was as blessed as ours.

I used Momma’s china-perfect for spring!

Here is an appropriate card.
