Yesterday was all about friends. I met some of my tailgate friends for lunch at Parrain’s. Later I went to Zumba, came home and cleaned up and Beau and I met some friends at the Rum House. The restaurant is a Caribbean Taqueria serving jerk chicken and Caribbean inspired tacos. One of the gal’s brother has just opened this second location on Perkins Road in Baton Rouge. The original location is on Magazine St. in New Orleans.

Today’s feature is a 3-D item we made at the Petite Petals class last Sunday.

I think it would be perfect as a favor. I think I’m going to run with this idea and pass these out to friends and family hoping to increase my customer base. What could you use it for? I’d love to hear your ideas!

Here’s the recipe:

STAMP SET: Petite Petals (bundle W134821 $24.50; C 134822 $21.25)

         Wild Wasabi marker
         Primrose Petals marker
ACCESSORIES:  Primrose Rose Ribbon (126844 48.95)
Scallop Tag Topper Punch (133324 $22.95)

TIP: Use the broad end of the markers to ink stamp. Remove any mistakes with a damp q-tip and remember to “huff” on the ink to remoisten it before stamping!

TIP: The treat I used was the individually wrapped Ghirardelli chocolate squares! Perfect fit! Or you could use a tea bag.

Have a great weekend–get out and do something fun!
Happy stampin’,
