Tonight, around the country for the first time ever, Stampin’ Up! is holding a catalog premier. The closest place for me is Houston, however there was too much going on for me to take a few days off to go. On Thursday May 1st demonstrators can start preordering items from the new catalog and placing orders for the new catalog. Please let me know if you want a new 2014-15 catalog for $5. I love, love, love being able to hold the real thing on my lap while indulging in a glass of heart healthy red wine!

When you get your new catalog–this is what I do: first, I get a glass of wine, then I go through and ooh and aah over all the new stuff, second, I check off the stamps and accessories that I have, next I use sticky notes to mark the things I want! Now, this could take a few days and your stickies may move, but the last thing is to make a wish list. As much as I would love to order everything and would love for my customers to order everything that’s not practical. You have to pace yourself.

But until the new catalog is available I’ll deal with what I have!

Look how beautiful this card by Julie Davison is. Two card stock colors and a neutral. I can do this (you know how I love lots of color!)!

TIP: To make this card choose your stamp set and colors. Cut your neutral card stock and lay it out on your scratch paper. Use a tiny bit of adhesive-just enough to keep it from moving. Place pieces as close as possible and stamp away. Then you can mount it leaving spaces for an awesome look.
Happy stampin’,
