Hi everyone! Hope your weekend was as productive as mine!

I managed to send out 10 birthday cards, which means I am now caught up through the first week in April! I made this card during our last “ice day” and posted it. But I decided it needed a little bling, so I added small rhinestones to each or the flowers.

TIP: The rhinestones and pearls sometimes come off the sheet
WITHOUT the glue dot. So I use the end of our paper snips or
tweezers to make sure I get the sticky with the embellishment!

I aslo stamped a flower in the lower left hand corner of the
envelope front and added an envelope liner to the inside
of the envelope.
TIP: I cut my paper 3″ x 6″ and save my DSP
rather than cutting a whole liner. You can see it from
the other side so it’s up to you.

TIP: I also include scrap paper to cover the card front on
cards that have embellishments. Sometimes when the card
goes through the machines at the P.O. they get moved around.
This helps protect them.

I also managed to get pictures on 7 scrapbook layouts and I have 6 more to place in my scrapbook! I’ll be showing some of those to you in the coming days and weeks.

Thanks for coming back to the birdnest. I hope you will visit often and enjoy the tips, technques, and samples I show.
     Happy stampin’,
~Laura
P.S. For those of you interested in the four newest members of our bird family — they are learning to fly and SQUAWKING up a storm to be fed. And it doesn’t matter if its Mom or Dad-anyone can feed ’em. Boy, can those little guys make noise!
