Today I am getting ready for Scrapbook Hostess Club. This is the monthly meeting where we make a 2 page layout and it’s my turn to be hostess! Yippee!
I think the layout I’ve planned for Wednesday night will be very appropriate–a winter layout with snowflakes, maybe some icicles, snowmen, etc. to show our pictures from this winters ice storms. And I’m going to let you in on a little secret. It’s called CASEing and it stands for copy and share everything.
When I started stamping almost ten years ago, I thought every card, every layout, every decorative item had to be my idea! No one told me it was OK to copy. And talk about frustrated, I just couldn’t get started. Well, alot has changed in those years and there are alot of websites to help you come up with ideas. You know they say if you copy something and make one change–it’s yours! Sometimes when looking for ideas I might find the layout of the card is what I like, other times it might be the color combinations, or you love the whole thing but don’t have the stamp set that was used–just substitute something you have.
Here are some scrapbook layouts that I am thinking of combining. Most of them are single page layouts so I will have to expand to make it two pages.
