Hi everyone! I’m trying a new browser (not search engine)–Chrome to see if some of the problems I’ve been experiencing will go away! So if there are any problems with my post on your end, please let me know.
The weekend–well we did have the Louisiana Marathon in town and today they ran by the house. Always something going on around here and the kids are back on campus for the 2nd semester. That means more traffic and activity!
Now back to my weekend–for all practical purposes I did get a few things done. No stampin’ cuz I’m still playing catchup. You know, like finally getting the few Christmas decorations boxed and ready to be put in the attic, house cleaned, clothes washed. All that mundane stuff that someone has to do. Not sure what happened to my “wife” a/k/a sweet hubby. Guess since he had to handle the elders and everything else over the 2 weeks I was in Charlotte and again while I was in Houston at leadership he decided to take off. That’s OK. It’s interesting how we take things (people) for granted. SH (sweet hubby) was gone helping our son move for a couple weeks this summer and I really saw the things he does to help around the house and he does ALOT! But, still asking Santa to bring me that house elf–like in Harry Potter.
I have three special birthday cards to make. My sister is turning 70 on Friday and my sweet hubby will be 60 on Feb. 3 and my mother-in-law will be 90 on Feb. 5. So glad I’m not nearly as old as any of these guys!!!
