I actually got out into the world today to take my very good friend Mr. Warren to the doctor. Afterwards we had coffee at Starbucks and chatted while enjoying the 54 degree sunshiny weather.
Todays card is one I totally CASED! Case stands for copy and share everything! I would love to tell you that I’m so talented that all of the cards I make are my ideas. But that would be a big fat lie. What I do is either look for cards made with a specific stamp set or a theme–masculine, holiday, birthday, etc. And most of the time I use a different stamp set, or colors–add different embellishments. You know they say one change makes it yours. When I was teaching Kindergarden, alot of my ideas came from coloring books. All I can say is thank you to all who have inspired me. I also enjoy looking around me-magazines, patterns on quilts, comforters–things of that nature. One day I saw a gal jogging around the LSU lakes in a coral outfit and I thought that would make a great card. So be open-you never know where you’ll find inspiration!
This card could be used for any occasion. My sweet hubby complimented me on the texture. The recipe follows.
