Did yall have a nice weekend?
We stayed close to home. Friday I kept my Godson while the parents went to a party. We decorated sugar cookies and he helped me stamp white wrapping paper to wrap gifts in. So that’s done.! I missed the family Christmas party and bonfire on Saturday, still trying to shake this cold. But I did get about 1/3 of my Christmas cards addressed and out to be picked up tomorrow! Yea!
Here are the tags I talked about on Friday.
The reindeer is made from the Owl Punch minus the feet. The nose has Crystal Effects (one of our adhesives) on it to give it a little 3D and the antlers are from the retired Snowflake Punch. Use some DSP an Washi Tape and there you have it!
The Santa is made from the Holiday Ornament framelits. Ellen embossed the white beard with an embossing folder to give it a little zip! Adorable!
I use all of our adhesives, but I guess most of the time I like to use Stampin’ Up!s snail adhesive. But we have a wide range of adhesives that do lots of things. Take a look…Adhesives. If you need help deciding, let me know!
TIP: One of my downline showed me the correct way to use the “Adult” Glue stick. I wasn’t using it correctly. I would go around the edges like snail adhesive, and found that it didn’t hold all that well. But the correct way is to smear the glue all over the back side, not just the edges of your layer and then place it. It has a little give in case you need to straighten your image.
Make a point to come back tomorrow! I have the cutest 3D gift holder to show you. See you soon!
Happy stampin’,
~Laura
