Hi! My name is Laura and I’m a stamper and a scrapbooker! That said I’d like to give you some background.
When you first heard the word scrapbook/scrapbooking–what did that mean to you? My idea of scrapbooking was a lot of work and one picture per page. (You haven’t seen my pictures but I have LOTS!) I was teaching kindergarten and went into the lounge to get a much needed cup of coffee. There was a parent in there with all her scrapbook stuff. As I poured my coffee I was thinking…sista, you need a life! I will never do that! Well, I’ve now been retired about 12 years and have eaten those words long ago, because I am
totally addicted to making handmade cards and scrapbooking!
Today is All Saints Day (my sweet Momma’s 103rd birthday) and since yesterday was Halloween, I’d like to share my granddarlin’s Halloween cards!
The youngest is obsessed with eyeballs so what’s better than a huge eyeball looking in through a window! I used post it notes to mask the color sections. For the window frame I punched 4 squares, then placed them on a larger square and punched our the windows. And then I added a googlie eyes!
For this card I used my Whisper White scrapes. I sponged the edges and of course added googlie eyes to the bloodshot eyes!
They loved their cards!
Well, that’s all for my first blog episode. Thanks so much for checking it out! And please stay tuned… I’ll be back on Monday and hope you will too.
Until then, happy stampin’!
