Hi and Happy Turkey Day again! Hope all of you ate lots of turkey and not too much pie! We had a nice semi quite day! Just my husband and his parents that live with us. You would have thought we were having an army. I roasted a turkey, made sweet potato casserole, green beans, petite pois peas, broccoli, cranberry gelatin salad, Asphodel bread and two pies. Pumpkin (of course) and Derby pie with pecans and chocolate chips. Num-num, I’m full! My sweet husband is always a big help and now we have plenty of meat left overs. We ate around 1 o’clock and had time for a quick nap before friends arrived for pie and coffee in the afternoon. Now the dishes are washed, the food is put away and I’m heading for the couch.
As always I am reminded how very thankful and blessed I am for my family and friends — many of those are I’ve made through Stampin’ Up! and all the things the good Lord has given me.
Are you a black Friday shopper? I AM NOT! So I hope to start decorating for the demonstrator Christmas party that is here on Monday!
With Christmas rapidly approaching one thing that comes to mind is wreathes. I made this wreathe a couple years ago. I scored all the lines of the rosettes or lollies as some call them on my simply scored board. But today we have the Big Shot Rosette Bigz XL die — soooooo much easier!
Here is the link Rosettes
Now, to bed.
Happy stampin’,
