Hi! I’ve been working on Wednesday night’s hostess club scrapbook layout. Wow! That’s a mouthful! I hope it turns out as swell as I’m planning for it to! Along with doing that, I’ve been getting all my stampin stuff organized and put tabs in my new “catty” and marked everything I’m wishing for and made my wish list! It’s kind of like it was when I was at LSU studying for exams. My hair was washed, legs shaved, clothes washed–just putting off the inevitable.

The new catty spiral bound with new tabs and LOTS of
sticky strips marking my wishes!

For those of you that don’t know how hostess club works…here’s the lowdown. The club has 6 or more members that commit to coming one night a month. Each member is required to make a minimum $25 order (some clubs do more)-even if they can’t come that night. 6 x $25 = $150. That is where the hostess dollars begin. Each member will take turns being the hostess and bringing snacks. Outside orders are allowed .

Found a Project Life post on stampinup.com. I am thinking about doing a “layout” (is that what it’s called in PL world?) for one of my hostess clubs to show the gals that don’t know what it’s all about –how it works (and me!).
It looks like the person that did this page used 5 pictures and added a little bit to each one and the sixth spot was DSP (our designer paper) with a little journaling. Now that looks fast.
Happy stampin’,
~Laura
