I had a wonderful birthday yesterday! It was another rainy dreary day with chilly temperatures. My sweet hubby was sick over the weekend – sore throat, migraine off and on. He did manage to get out and surprise me with a dark pink long sleeve LSU shirt and a card that the “blue people” hid.
Now for those of you that don’t know about the blue people, let me explain. Every second of every minute of every day the blue people are running around putting things around us in place. So when you can’t find your car keys and you know good and well that you left them in the kitchen drawer and they aren’t there- it’s not you! It’s the blue people. They made a mistake!
Well, we firmly believe in the blue people – they do exist! After all I saw it on a Twilight Zone!
Ok back to my birthday. I was rummaging around in my newly renovated recipe box and I made us a High Rise pancake for brunch and a Chicken pie for supper.

I got the box from Michael’s and covered it with some retired DSP I had. I decorated the top and sides and put a divider down the middle to make 2 sections that each hold 3″ x 5″ cards. I cut out the RECIPE l.letters using my typeset. Then I used my envelop punch board to make dividers and added labels
Here are the links to the Typeset Alphabet die and the envelop punch board.

 Chicken Pie recipe

1lg.can of Chicken, drained and shredded
1 can of Cream of Mushrom or other soup

P.S. Still haven’t found my card! That’s enough, blue people!
